System Overview
The 28-port switch, equipped with 24 PoE Gigabit Ethernet ports, is specifically crafted for security monitoring and Ethernet projects. It seamlessly integrates into security monitoring systems, boasting fast packet forwarding and gigabit transfer rates to ensure crisp images and seamless transmission. With sufficient bandwidth, it meets the demands of high-definition video surveillance.
AI Functions with Dip Switches
The switch offers one-key function conversion with support for five modes: normal mode, VLAN mode, Extend mode, WATCHDOG mode, and QoS mode.
- Normal: In normal mode, all switches are deactivated, and no special functions are active.
- VLAN: 1-24 Ports are isolated from each other and only communicate with the uplink port. This setup helps control network storms and safeguards information security.
- Extension: 1-24 Ports can communicate with each other and with the uplink ports. Additionally, they can transmit signals up to 250 meters using Cat5e/6 cable or better.
- WATCHDOG: If a network port remains linked but doesn’t transmit data for 2-3 minutes, the POE port will automatically restart. Similarly, if a port loses its link after initially being connected, the POE port will also restart after 2-3 minutes without a link.
- QoS: QoS (Quality of Service) assigns priority to specific ports for data transmission. Ports with designated priority, such as ports 1-2 and 8 ports out of 24, have higher priority compared to other ports. This means data forwarded through these priority ports takes precedence over data from other ports, ensuring smoother transmission.
